JNCSLaser metal cutting and drilling systems are designed in-house to provide excellent performance.  With cutting heads and linear motor technology, they achieve maximum speeds and power all in a contained footprint. JNCSLaser metalworking technology was the first in Europe to deliver cutting powers of up to 30kW. Because of this performance, drilling holes with very small diameters is possible, even on very thick pieces. For example, a 5-mm hole can be drilled on a 40-mm thick piece of iron. Maximum power, focused into the diameter of a hair’s width. This unique ability is only possible using fiber lasers, which are able to heat the material in the piercing area to a lesser degree due to their wavelength. In this way, ‘waste’ material due to cutting is drastically reduced. Neither plasma nor hot punching is able to achieve a similar result, and the advantage is truly extraordinary. Just think of the opportunity of obtaining a cut part that already includes a required hole in the specified position.
