Comparison of three processes for glass cutting/drilling machine

Water jet: The cutting edge is relatively rough, and the lines where the water column passes can be seen with the naked eye.

CNC: The cutting edge is smoother and more delicate to the touch. Thanks to the shape of its cutter head, it has a C-angle and does not scratch your hands.

Laser: Straight edges and right angles, the interior is smooth and clean, and there is no self-guided edge processing; if you need to guide the edge, you need to go through CNC again.

Drilling with a fiber laser: the benefits of innovation

Fiber laser drilling of metals has rapidly established itself in the mechanical engineering manufacturing sector.       

While the CO2 laser had already made it possible to optimise performance and processing times, the introduction of the fiber laser has literally revolutionised manufacturing dynamics.
