Laser cutting uses a high power density laser beam focused onto the workpiece to rapidly melt, vaporize, burn or ignite the irradiated material. At the same time, the molten material is blown away by a high-speed gas coaxial with the beam, thus achieving cutting of the workpiece.<\/p>
